Flash codecs - transparency
on Oct 2, 2013 at 3:04:33 pm

I have a large set of images (over 1k) with transparent background which I need to convert to FLV. (while preserving the transparent background of course).
The whole process has to be automatic.
I Googled about the topic and found out that "VP6A with alpha channel" is good for my needs.
Unfortunately, it only exists in certain conditions which are not good for me (I'm willing to pay for it, but nothing really suits my needs).

Is there any other codec which matches all my requirements? (image set with background + sound => FLV with transparent background)

Don't know exactly how you intend on using the images/background/sound. I've done dynamic imports all images in a directory into a flash player to create a timed slideshow to music. That way no conversion was necessary for the images. Would that work for you?
