Trying to play a recently created flash file-no luck
on Aug 16, 2013 at 1:58:12 am

Hi All,

Rookie question here, so please forgive...

New to Media Encoder (CS6) on a mac-just converted a quicktime file to flv using the presets. How do I get the new flv to play to test? When I double click it the .flv file, it opens up FLASH and then I answer a series of questions as to where the file is located (fine), do I want a skin (no) and when flash open it processes and then says "The video player is in the connection error state. It enters this state when video stream attempted to load but was unsuccessful. the reason being no connection to server or the stream was not found". I also downloaded the regular flash player and it won't launch there either.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

SG

VLC Player loads and plays FLV files just fine.
