Jump to frame and stop - speeds up embeded video
on Mar 3, 2013 at 2:16:34 pm

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me, I am currently working on a project where I need to jump between frames within the timeline and have embedded video content on these frames. As I am fairly new to flash and so my understanding of AS3 is minimal I so far have been using the 'click to frame and stop' snippet code for this navigation which works great. So far my 'go to' frame jumps have been one frame along each time which works great. My problem now is that I have discovered when wanting to jump from say frame 1 to frame 6, the embedded video which launches on frame 6 plays really fast, rushing the clip. The code between these two buttons (one leading to frame 2, the other frame 6 are near identical) so is this a flash problem?

Fook_Sau_BTN.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame);

function fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame(event:MouseEvent):void

Jum_Sau_BTN.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_9);

function fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_9(event:MouseEvent):void

Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated
