Noob question re: animation
on Nov 6, 2012 at 7:33:00 pm

Howdy, I'm an after effects user but I'm using Flash for a project involving frame by frame animation. I'm wondering how to take a sequence of keyframes already animated and then convert them into a Movie Clip, so I can drop it in behind the action and just have it keep looping (it's intended as a background element)

When I select all of the keyframes and "convert to symbol" it only uses one of the frames, how do I get all of them in there?

Thanks!

select all the frames you want. right click to Copy All Frames.
Then you can paste those frames into a New MovieClip symbol, delete the frames on the main timeline, and now use that new movieclip symbol as you like on the main timeline.
