Adobe Flash Video Tutorial? Explaining Social Media
on Oct 2, 2012 at 4:05:16 pm

Ok, so I am trying to create a video explaining social media and how it can effect and help grow your business. I am creating this for work, I want to have random text with quick facts/background images etc. I am trying to emulate this social media revolution video:

I searched around for good tutorials but I am kind of unfamiliar with Flash and not sure what exactly I am looking for... Any links or explanations would be very helpful, thanks in advance!

Flash can certainly do this, although After Effects might be a better choice. either way, you need to learn how to animate ( AE ) or tween/animate(Flash) individual units (project assets or titles in AE, or MovieClips in Flash)

Look at the tutorials here on Creative Cow. Tony Ross has some good Flash tutorials on animating text:

and Aharon Rabinowitz has many on using AE:

if using Flash, i also recommend learning how to animate using jsut coding, rather than timeline based tweens. Making use of a good Tweening engine like greensock's excellent TweenLite can make life a lot easier!

hope that helps get you started
