Opening wordpress link in Chrome blocks window
on Jun 5, 2012 at 12:32:05 pm

Hello there everyone,

We have added a couple of wordpress blogs to our site (as links that open from the main menu of a flash site based on .xml) - they were added like this:

<link title="blog" url="http://blog.example.com/" />

However when clicking on them in Chrome, a message appears as "blocked window" by default. This is not happening at all in Firefox of Safari (using a mac here).

Is there a different line of code (or a modification to the one above) we can use to solve this?

Thank U

Google Chrome’s in-built Click to Play feature for this tutorial. Using this method, you will be able to block flash contents including flash ads, while having the freedom to enable flash with just a click on the flash content.

Thanks a lot for your tip Samantha!

However we don't get to make it work :-(

You mean we have to apply that line of code like this to the .xml :

<link title="blog" professional roofer" />

or maybe apply it somewhere inside one particular .fla or .as archive?

Cheers
