I've been working on a short scene with tweening in flash. My latest issue with symbols is the following:
I have a ball-like squishy creature in a symbol. After the symbol is rotated some 30 degrees, I need to make the symbol squash evenly against a flat ground surface. The problem with this is that since the symbol is rotated, attempting to squash it will actually resize it in accordance with the transform tool's bounding box (which is now also permanently rotated 30 degrees). So, when I apply the squashed pose, it looks as though he's squashing up against an angled invisible surface.
Is there a way I can reset the bounding box on the symbol transformation to face its original directions, without rotating the symbol back? Or is there any other known work around?
