Interactive Movie in Flash

Perhaps some of you know this website, which contains an interactive movie. Basically, you get to make choices during the movie.
http://www.survivetheoutbreak.com/

I have worked with using several movies in a SWF before, but I always seem to be having problems with either all the movies loading at the same time (making it really slow) or keypoints not working.

Does anyone have a clue how the above interactive movie was achieved -or can be achieved- in Flash?

Thats cool. Reminds me of a cooler, modern version of the books I used to read when I was a kid. You know "If choose option a go to page 23 if option be go to 83"

What they are doing is programmatically loading the movie that gets chosen at the time it gets chosen.

LoaderMax is a very good code library for doing things like this.
They start streaming the video from the moment you click the button. that way you don't have to load a bunch of unnecessary videos and you don't have to start loading all of them the second you're loading your main SWF.

Kind regards,
Pieter

General notice: from now on, I would like to ask everyone to put [AS2] or [AS3] (corresponding to the version of actionscript you are using on your project) in front of their post titles when the question is actionscript related! Please help us help you faster. Thank you.
