animate with 60 FPS?!
on Aug 2, 2011 at 9:39:36 am

I've been asked to animate something with 60 fps in flash by a client.

I pesonally claim its impossible to animate at 60 fps.

I've just tried to tween a circle from the left to the right in CS5 with motion tween and classic tween and it's laggy as f***.

So even a motion tween won't work smoothly.

Any suggestions / any thoughts?

How beafy is your computer?

Does the client demand flash and does he know what he is talking about?

I have had horrible luck with cs5 and flash. I have tried to do a detailed animation in cs5 and it would not work well at all. 60fps is a lot, what is this being used for?

I am using cs3 and I tried the ball at 60 fps, I let it run for about 200 frames. It is working fine for me. I tried using cs5 for a graphic intense project a while ago and it did not go well. That might be a cause? I went back to cs3 immediately after discovering I could not do what I wanted to do.
