no valid html templates are available

hi there.
its been a while since i update my website using flash professional cs5 and got right to the end of it to publish and i received an error message " no valid html templates are available"

i search the forums but there doesnt seem to be any answers of how to fix it?

can someone suggests and solutions to this?

Hi Dan, this is most likely due to your publish settings.

Flash uses a html template when publishing the html file which embeds the flash file. You can circumvent this error from being thrown by going to File > Publish Settings and then uncheck the html checkbox. This means the html file won't be published, so if you don't have an html file to embed the flash file, you'll want to google SWFObject, a javascript library for embedding .swf files.

Thanks for your reply.

I found out that in fact i had to delete the cs5 flash folder in user/appdata/local/adobe/flashcs5 in order to reset it so that it wouldnt happen again.

All fixed now. thanks.
