I want to produce an animation of a long thing, like a snake or worm, arriving on the screen by emerging from a hole on the screen and then following a sine wave type of path. So the snake, I'm not differentiating a head, emerges and the front and then the rest of the body follow the sine wave path. Then the tail emerges from the hole and the whole thing continues to follow the sine wave type of path.
I thought about using the shape tween facility but that always seems to narrow anything that it stretches. Can anyone point me in the right direction, thanks.
OK Folks, I've worked out that I can use an empty symbol to get what I want regarding the inclusion of the snake. Now I am trying to figure out how to have it all happen as a white snake against a sky blue background and I wonder if I have to create a square and then fill it with the blue. I tried just using the bucket, set with sky blue, to fill the white stage but nothing happened. So I conclude that I need to give it a boundary first although I did read that shapes that have gaps can receive colour from the bucket and, because of the gap, the colour would fill the whole space. This is where I'm up to. Any help appreciated. I'm using a computer at the local library as I don't have the software on my home one. Cheers, Gavin.
