I make animations with Flash 8, and I want to export them in the best quality possible for use with Final Cut Express. However, I do not want to render the video for editing, since that is a long process that eats up my hard drive space. I've tried all options, and they either require rendering or mess up the video (it gets stretched and becomes unwatchable).
I have previously been using Mpeg Streamclip to encode the videos for use, but that makes the videos very low-quality. So bad in fact, that I have had to stop making videos in HD. So how do I get my videos to be render-free in Final Cut Express without losing quality?
If this helps, I export the videos as .mov files in 640x360, and the codec I use in Mpeg Streamclip is Apple DV/DVCPRO - NTSC (and no, exporting the .mov with that codec from Flash will not work).
