Flash CS5 transparent video background

Hi Cows,

I just saw a video tutorial on youtube, and the guy that made the tutorial had a "transparent" video running in the background, and he could move forward on the timeline, frame by frame.
So, my question is, how do did he do that?

Link to the video:

It's probably not that hard, but Im newbie in flash, so I need help :)

Convert your video to FLV format. You can then import that video using the 'Embed FLV in SWF and play in timeline' method. Drop the opacity of that layer so that the drawing on the layers above are more visible.

I managed to import the footage, but how do I drop the opacity of the layer?

Sorry, I meant to say drop the opacity of the video. Just right-click on the video, click 'Convert to symbol', choose 'Graphic' as the symbol type. With the new symbol selected, open the 'Properties' tab and click the 'Color Effect' spin down, setting 'Alpha' as the effect. Then set the percentage of transparency with the slider.
