I created a swf in CS3, using AS2. The main swf calls and plays an external swf. This is all done in the default html document that Flash generates.
My client is trying to put the files on BaseCamp for others to download and use on their PC laptops. For some reason, it strips the extensions off of the files, so the relationships are lost between files, and the external swf won't play.
Is there a way to upload the files and download them with losing the extensions?
I'm sorry I am not familiar with 'BaseCamp' so I may be ignorant, but I am curious: If the extensions are stripped off, how can the first .swf play at all in the first place?
Linked files need to be located in the same folder, or within the same internal folder structure they were created in. With relative linking applied, that is. This is unless the link is hardcoded, which will overrede any of the previous.
Check that all conditions are met, actually.
