Hi, I'm using adobe flash & want the background transparent. I know how to do this with html, but im trying to embed the flash into adobe flash catalyst program which doesn't let me edit the html. i found this video saying to go to file, html, change the window to transparent, then click publish & okay & your good to go! But, after I click publish i get a pop-up saying applications & installer settings & it asks for a code signing certificate!!??? im lost. help?
as long as you don't have an actual box/item on the background, it will be transparent when you set any embed parameters to window:transparent.
Make sure when you view the html in a browser that there aren't other placement tags.. you might have paraname for the basic object and then also embed parameters... just search for "window" and make sure it's set to transparent.
I haven't used Catalyst so it might be an after-catalyst thing via a text editor/dreamweaver etc.
