Cheapest way to export flv from quicktime

Have downloaded ON2 Flix... but $199???

Any good freeware or other tricks?

Also 6 min sd qt file comes out at 22mb with On2...Is that about right? Seems big... Thanks...jb

not saying this is the best and it is not free, but QuickTime Pro ($29 from apple) exports QuickTime ( or any of the many other formats it can play ) into Flash Video ( FLV ) - as well as many other formats.

it also plays FLVs. it is what i use to quickly and easily play or scrub through an flv when i am looking for something.

not sure if the free version has these capabilities....

Second on quicktime pro, pretty cheep for what it does, and can do so much more than many compression-specific apps.

I would even skip .flv, flash supports h264 video in .mov, .mp4, and .m4v (maybe more)
