Flash Upgrade and now a white box
on Apr 2, 2010 at 6:57:42 pm

Hi There,

I was hired to make some changes to a site that includes several flash maps. I used CS3 to make updates to the swf files. Rather than reimport the .js I just changed the .swf file name in my html and uploaded the new swf and html page.

This process has worked fine.

I have recently upgraded to Flash CS4 and am trying to use the same process and now I get a white box in IE where there should be a .swf map.

Here is a link to the trouble page in question.

Here is the thing.

This map works in Firefox, Opera, and safari but not in IE(all the time). I have seen in work on some computers in IE but not all.

What could be the problem here

1. How I import the swf?
2. How the swf is built
3. How users computers are set up?

Any thoughts in this would be great.
Thanks.
Janie
