Maybe this question was asked before, but I am new to flash and wasn't sure how to ask it right, so here is my situation.
I am building a photography website with flash design company. I have 3 options to display my images:
1. in full screen - meaning full browser screen, not full monitor screen (some image cropping may occur with landscape images)
2. to fit within browser window (good for panoramic images)
3. to not exceed original width & height (good for not stretching small images)
The ideal solution for me is " in full screen" (full browser window screen), but I tested site on different monitors and most of the images get cropped.
"fit within browser window " shows the black space around the images, and I don't like.
Is there such thing as "safe" zone on image (i.e. I can resize the image and don't worry about some parts if they get cropped) OR "safe" proportion for the full screen images, so they look right on different monitors (4:3, widescreen, resolution, etc.) Sorry if it sounds confusing, hope it makes sense.
