i've developed a video player in adobe flash builder....i want my player to be customized...i want my player to be clickable...and create hotspots in the video....can anyone help me how to create hotsopts in a video palyer

Would you not try creating an almost-transparent movie clip, giving it actions and loading it by actionscript into a high level, above your video ...?

i would add that with the creative use of combining navigation type cue points and movieclip/buttons you can accomplish a lot with fairly simple actionscript

To create a customized clickable video you can take your video to http://www.viewbix.com. They let you insert clickable calls to action and clickable apps which is surrounded by a player that is branded with your logo and colors
