Flash dropdown menu over html problem
on Mar 6, 2010 at 1:20:26 am

ok so im working on this site http://www.susanthorsen.com/portfolio.html i have built a dropdown menu in flash and im having probems with it. My problem is that the flash covers html links text ect i have the parameters of the flash swf set to transparent and on a higher index so that the dropdown is over everything but even when the dropdown is not activated i cant click links or anything like that. i do not have this problem in IE only firefox and chrome. the flash is sized at 960px x 30 but with the Dropdown its actually 960 x 210px. so my question is how do i fix this problem the menu has to be on a higher index so that the links can be read but even when the menu is not activated it covers stuff. is ther some java that can bow it up to 100% 960x210 when rollover and shrink to 960x30 when not so that it doesnt cover links. or maybe even some css styling, div node something please help i can provide fla if necessary or html page my email is patrick@essenceofdesignus.com

thanks
