Video player in SWF doesn't work properly in Firefox or IE

It seems to work OK in Safari on the Mac but either doesn't work or works sporadicly in Firefox and IE on both the Mac and PC.

The problem is this: on the SWF that I have nested inside of HTML on my site, there's a series of buttons that will play particular videos in an area above these buttons when clicked. What's happening is that the video player will come up off center, positioned part way off of the page and as only the play bar not the actual video.

The page in question is here:

Works fine on Firefox here just now.

You know, though, that you have a lot of html errors (shown up by the w3c http://www.w3c.org ) in their validator http://validator.w3.org/

Once pages don't validate, the range of ways browsers handle or try to interpret what the designer meant becomes more diverse - more browsers show more different, often unwanted results.

Mike,
Thanks for pointing that out. I went over some pages, and will do the rest later with the validator and that process has appeared to make things work a little bit better. There's still that one thing with the video popping up in the wrong spot and then just being a player (without the actual content appearing). Still, that issue seems to work a little bit better. It's one of those odd things that seems to work properly one time but then not another. Even on the same browser. It's like I need to have some text on those pages that says "if video doesn't work, refresh browser."

Anyway thanks again for the suggestion. I have used that validator before, but I guess that with this project, I had forgotten about it.
