Tryngo to control time between slides

I am a new Flash CS3 user.
I need do control the time between slides, but i can't find a way.

Can someone help me?

This may be more elaborate than what you're asking for. However it is a robust piece of code that takes height for user interaction etc.
Usage: paste the code below into a frame early in your app. Then, in the Timeline, anywhere you need a pause, just type pause(4); for a four second pause. You can even use a decimal number, i.e. 2.6 etc.

var startFrame:int = currentFrame;
var myTimer:Timer = new Timer((secs * 1000), 1);
myTimer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, fResume);

function fResume(e:TimerEvent):void {
myTimer.removeEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, fResume);
myTimer = null;
if (currentFrame == startFrame) {
