Just purchased Flash CS4 and was surprised to find no user manuals from Adobe. Lots of online resources at their website, but no manuals to download and print. Tech support is useless and sales wants to charge another $50 for the Adobe user manual (hardcopy). Is this worth it or should I just continue exploring 3rd party reference books at B&N, etc.
Another option is to print the help file, which essentially, is the user manual. In Flash, (or any CS4 app), launch help in your browser by pressing F1, then look across the top of the page for a link to the PDF, (it'll show up in the top right or left corner of the page). If you have access to a high-speed laser or another device on which you can print the Flash file's 474 pages without breaking the bank, there you go.
All of the vim with none of that annoying vigor.
