I work for a university and there is a banner at the top of the page. The images are moving pictures with dissolving text coming in. I need to find a way to make it look like the end of the time line seamlessly dissolves in to the first picture and continuously loop without anyone knowing where the beginning and the end are.
well, that's a little more o go on. describing it as 'moving images' still leaves a lot open to interpretation.
i think you said the banner was created as a time line that plays from beginning to end, and then loops back to the beginning.
so one basic approach is to think of the timeline as a series of units. call thse units 'slides' or whatever makes sense to you. if they were all independent movieclips- all the better.
but anyway, if the first one is disovilng in ( alpha=0 going to alpha=1 ), then the last one is doing the reverse ( alpha=1 goint to alpha=0). being on a timeline, on separate layers, you overlap them to create a good cross fade disolve.
if they were separate movieclips, then you code them ( use TweenLite ! ) so that as one is begining to fade out, the other is beginning to fade in.
i hope that gives you some sense of a few ways to approach that. if you want to share more - sned files etc , we can get you further along
I am still a little new to flash. Its not just one singular clip, its my composition with multiple layers. I have it now where the last frame is an image with text over it, and the first frame is a different picture with different text. I guess I need to know the best way to make the ending flow into the beginning. Is there some type of script that can tell it to have the opening clip dissolve underneath the end clip while the end clip dissolves out?
