switching from FlowPlayer - Which Product Question
on Jan 13, 2010 at 9:54:59 pm

MacPro 2.66 Quad-Core / 8 GB DDR3 /NVIDIA GeForce GT 120

Typical Workflow: Canon XL H1 - firewire capture in Apple ProRes 422 - FCP 6.06 - creating short form videos output as progressive downloadable files

I will be using a combination of Telestream Episode and Matrox MXO to produce H.264 .mov fies for the web. I have been using FlowPlayer to provide a flash wrapper for my videos but this "open source" product does not support .mov files.

Am I correct that Adobe Flash CS4 Professional is the product I need? Basically the only function I need is one to create the player and enable Flash formatted, H.264 encoded mp4/.mov type downloadable files for the web. Is there a less expensive Adobe solution?

Many Thanks,
