I'm in the early stages of a project that will convert existing instructional videos into interactive online modules. The concept is to mimic live training by shooting an instructor who will introduce a series of short (6-8 minute) segments over the course of an hour. The modules may also include multiple choice assessment questions in addition to the video of the instructor and video taken from the existing programs. Ultimately, the modules will be delivered to users through a variety of Learning Management Systems.
I know how to create and encode the videos but I'm not sure how to tie it all together. I'm guessing I'll need to hire someone to write the Action Script 3 code to make sure users can navigate smoothly between segments and to be certain the modules are compatible with the delivery systems. I'm budgeting now and would like to know how to identify the expertise I need and how much I should expect to pay. Any advice will be appreciated - thanks.
