fscommand Background when playing FLV
on Dec 30, 2009 at 6:10:03 pm

I have exported an FLV out of AfterEffects CS4, which I would like to play in a Flash Projector file. I have successfully gotten my FLV to play in a projector, with my fscommand("fullscreen","true"); actionscript working just fine. The FLVPlayback component's scaleMode seems to be doing the trick too (I have it set to noScale).

My problem is this: no matter what I've tried, the Projector's background color is always black. Meaning, everything outside of the edges of the video content when I'm in fullscreen mode is black. I've set my Flash document backgorund color to lime green as a test. The only way I can see the lime green is if I hit the ESC key while the movie is playing, thereby leaving fullscreen mode, and then expanding the size of the Projector window.

So, how do I get my FLV to play in a Projector on top of a colored background in fullscreen mode?
