Hello all! First time posting, so I apologize in advance for any newbie ignorance.
I did a search on the forum, but could not find any suggestions or comparisons for the BEST Flash converter.
Thus, the question: Out of all the apps out there, including Adobe Flash, which do you folks think is the BEST for converting Quicktime movies (on the Mac) to Flash (FLV)?? We do have Adobe Media Encoder, but are interested to see if people think there are better ones out there.
These would be approx. 3-5 minute demo reels, specifically for online viewing.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions! Best, Sara
Hi Sara. I won't say it's the best, since "best" is pretty subjective and I've only used a couple Flash converters, but On2's Flix is what I've been using to convert QuickTime videos to Flash for web viewing. It's pretty easy to use, works well, and the Standard version only costs $29. (A more full-featured Pro version is available.) Here's a link: http://www.on2.com/index.php?316
Free trials are available, so you don't have anything to lose by trying it out.
