I am using flash 8 on a Windows XP machine. When I import and add an audio file into the timeline of flash it appears to be inaccurate by a few frames relative to what the original duration is.
I have imported the same audio file into After Effects and the duration there is accurate. In After Effects the duration is written in timecode. The version of flash that I am using does not use timecode however the frame rate is exactly the same as AE. I can see by the number of frames that the AE version and flash do not match.
Does anyone know or have any ideas why this may be? Is flash known for inaccuracy when it comes to representing audio duration. The number of frames out is about 6 for a 2 minute audio file; long enough to put something out of sync. This increases proportionally the longer the duration.
