I have 6 pages in my website. The animation is controlled via frame labels. I have loaded an FLV video via actionscript on the "Videos" page. It loads up fine. The problem I am having is when clicking on one of the other pages, the FLV sound continues to play until finished, regardless of what page it is on. How do I go about removing the FLV if a page other than the Videos page is clicked? Thanks in advance.
Perhaps you could adjust your button actions to include stopping the video (if it is playing) as well as displaying the desired new page? So whatever method you use to launch the video, find its corresponding stop method and add that to your link actions?
Hi Mike, thanks for the response. As far as adding a stop action to the corresponding button, that presents an issue. The video is still visible on every page once it has been started. I need the video to only appear/play when the playhead is on that designated frame label (or page.) Is there some type of global function I can use to kill the player only unless its on the videos page?
