Newbie - Flash Menu Bar help
on Nov 2, 2009 at 4:39:49 am

Hi,

I just started working for a company - and one of the many things they have asked me to do is update their website. O NO!! This is not a skill of mine.

I have a little knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver but thats it.

They want me to create a menubar... and a login button and shop!

I said I would try... but I have no idea how to do this.

How easy is this to do? Is this possible to do in a month? !!

I have done a few tutorials in flash CS4...

Should I tell my boss i will do have to sleep with him to get the promotion I want instead?

Not likely - hes not my type.

So, you may have to get a budget and manage that via the web design company ... or go back to your boss and review what you were hired for!

i'll agree with mike.

my answer would be- yes, it can be done. but should it ?

it makes no sense ( business, nor common ) to ask of someone to do that if they don't know how, especially on a deadline like that.

setting up a shop/cart can be involved, and usually requires other programming languages too- PHP, ASP,Javascript, etc

considering the deadline, you'd be better served hiring this one out

HI guys,

Thanks for your replies, I agree with you too. I will tell me boss he can go get a website elsewhere then I can be left in peace.
