Like many, I'm having trouble embedding a .swf into my site.
I was having the 'works locally but not on remote' problem until I figured out that there was a filepath error. The .swf on the remote was still trying to access the .flv on my root folder on my local site, which of course didn't exist there.
The question is, how do I specify the correct filepath for the remote directories when I create the .swf in flash?
When importing video in Flash, there is an option to select 'Already deployed to a web server'. Is this where we do this? I tried to enter the URL when prompted, and received an error message: NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : Adobe Flash tried to play a live or recorded stream that does not exist. Source can't be found.
Maybe I'm just so new to this that I just entered the URL wrong?
Sorry I'm 'tarded! It's up on fedes-nicaragua.com at the moment.
Seems like you found the solution to your problem? :)
It's playing fine here.
General notice: from now on, I would like to ask everyone to put [AS2] or [AS3] (corresponding to the version of actionscript you are using on your project) in front of their post titles when the question is actionscript related! Please help us help you faster. Thank you.
