I'm a long time AFX user and I'm getting into this Flash world through CS4. I'm loving it, but when delivering there's a problem.
My file size is 59k and I need it to be under 40k.
Here's my situation:
I've created an .FLV animation in After Effects and then I brought it into Flash. Stuck a click through button on it and published it...59k. From reading posts, this is a common problem. What I'd like to ask is there any file reduction techniques concerning a simple FLV and click thru button workflow? Has anyone ever gotten this workflow to publish at 40k?
I know this is not the most optimal workflow for low file size, but are there any tricks to maybe shave 20k off this thing for the client?
