Center Aligning Flash webpage
on Jul 11, 2009 at 9:36:51 pm

Hello,

Months ago I came across a post on a forum on how to center align a flash webpage. I downloaded the attachment (see attachment below) but was unclear on how to actually apply this to my own webpage.

If you click on the launch file you will see that the box is constantly center aligned in the web browser. Also attached is a Java Script file that somehow makes this work along with a swf. My question then is where do I place this file to center align my webpage?? Thanks so much.

That zip link isn't there for me, but I'm guessing it's contains a .JS file called 'AC_RunActiveContent.js'. That allows FLash to load in browsers that don't have the embed conde legality sorted out. Basically, I'd upload that file alongside any web page Flash generates and everything should work nicely.

To centre your page, right-click on the html file that flash has made, it's full of code. but if you can find the BODY tag (looks something like
In the line underneath, put this code:
and save.

That's all you need.
