Trying to import a huge animation image sequence. 1024X768. Six hundred frames. While I understand this isn't exactly the application that Flash was designed for, my plan was to loop the animation on a screen in a conference room. Published as a swf/html you could hide the Internet Explorer tool bar and get a high quality, full screen image with a very small border.
The problem is flash is crashing left and right as I load in the frames. I imagine that I'm exceeding a file limit ceiling. Is there a work around, or any other program/way I could pull off what I'm trying?
Eventually, I resorted to throwing away every third frame, and I may have stepped on the images as well, compressing them a smidegen. However, the end result looks fantastic. Just took a while to get there. I'd keep experimenting with throwing away different combinations of frames and seeing how much you can get away with while still retaining the persistence of motion.
