I have been encoding with Adobe Media Encoder CS4 and exporting f4v files. I understand the settings pretty well and have been successful with the process until someone sent me an mpeg4 video. When I bring into Adobe Media Encoder CS4 it will not recognize the video, but it will encode the Audio.
My research shows that unless the Mpeg4 video is from a Camcorder it may not import.
Is that Correct?
Anyway around this besides having to import to FCP or Quicktime Pro to export as a .mov file?
If I do import into FCP or Quicktime Pro, wont that decrease the quality?
