This bug is driving me insane, so I thought I'd reach out.
I'm working on this application that needs to buffer a bunch of different streaming video files simultaneously (8-12 of them), then play back one instantly depending on user input. The files are all on FMS3.5 (Influxis). The issue I am having is that once the files are buffered and ready, when I choose one to play, I am not consistently getting audio and video from that stream. I sometimes lose video, and often lose both. Interestingly, the file that starts buffering first is the only one that consistently plays correctly. Also, the greater the number of files, the worse the performance.
In my code, I am currently opening each stream in its own NetStream, and all of the NetStreams in a single NetConnection. Does anyone know if there's a limit to the number of NetStreams that I can open within each NetConnection? I can't tell if the issue is in my code, in Flash, with Influxis (I just emailed them) or what. My code works great when playing the files locally.
If anyone has seen this and has any thoughts, I'd be forever grateful!
