YouTube's semi-Leopard windows
on May 2, 2009 at 3:11:58 am

There is a YouTube video on an individual's website which, when clicked, has two interesting behaviors.

1. A notice appears that the video has been withdrawn by the person who posted it. Nothing fancy about that, except that it seems to set up:
2. Windows with thumbnails of other videos appear, in that way-cool, almost Leopard-style, at the bottom of the video frame. These are slideable and clickable, so you can see these other videos.

Although I am guessing that this is a YouTube programming trick (to keep you watching YouTube videos, even when the one you requested has disappeared), I really like the effect of being able to slide thumbnails left and right and access them with a click.

Question: is this something that is available to a novice user of Flash?
