Jagged Images on Flash Site
on Apr 17, 2009 at 3:16:28 pm

Is there a simple way to prevent the images on our site from looking jagged/pixelated. Please take a look at:
I have been trying to figure out a way to keep the site so it can be sized to fit, but the images look jagged and pixelated... these are jpegs from 100Mb, 16bit, original tiffs... I am trying to showcase our photography but it just looks awful. Any help is appreciated!

There's some resizing going on somewhere. I've checked your source code on the web page and width and height are set to 100%, which means that while the vector-based Flash can handle resizing smoothly, the imported pixel-based jpgs can't. Lock your embed code to the same dimensions as your stage and that should fix your problem.
