Encoding Video for Web-Looking for Source File
on Apr 10, 2009 at 12:57:58 pm

For two years, I have placed SWF file on the web for viewing, and for two years everything has worked great. After upgrading to CS4, my video file arent working.

I now encode the video using the encoder, and then bring the flv file into flash and publish as usual. The SWF and FLV files work fine on the desktop, but do not when deployed to the web. Any suggestions?

This code be something to do with the security issue. There's an option in the publish settings for "access local files only" or "access network files only".

I'm still in AS2 and CS3 and have never had success or failure messing with those settings, but it might be that AS3 and CS4 use them????

Really must sit down and learn AS3.
