I've checked a bunch of manuals, and I still can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I'm having trouble with Scene 5 of this animation I'm working on. You can see just scene 5 here, or watch the whole thing if you're curious.
(If you're REALLY curious or want to see the previous episode, check out the project homepage.)
When the little boy in green turns around and stops walking, the cave walls are supposed to stop.
The cave walls are an instance named "cavey" of a move clip called "cave walls." The stalactites (which are on their own layer on top of the others) are an instance named "stalactites" of a movie clip named "stalactites."
So what I'm doing is writing action script on the keyframe when I want the movies to stop. I have tried
and all possible variations. I get this error:
1120: Access of undefined property cavey.
But cavey is the name of the instance!! Am I writing the code in the wrong place?
