.w3d, Reaktor still supported
on Feb 9, 2009 at 12:23:57 pm

I used to use Macromedia Director when I was at college. On our 3d course we made 3d models in 3Ds Max and used the Reaktor physics engine within 3ds max to create behaviors. We then exported the files (as .w3d) and imported into Director, where we could set up interactive 3d games with physics, pinball for example.

I have googled around to see if this is still supported in CS3.. as I know they have stopped making Director. I couldn't find any answers.

Does anyone know if this is supported?

If the answer is no - can I use papervision to do the same thing? and if so do I have to code the physics with ActionScript (which I don't know) or can I use Reaktor in 3ds max and export it?

A lot of questions I know ..hope you can help!
