can't get 2 instances of an flv video to play sync'd

i need some help getting 2 instances of an flv component playing the same vid to play at the same time...

please look here and you'll see the problem..

one video is the main screen, the other video is the 'glow' on the floor... there must be a way to draw 2 copies of the same video at the same time, right?

I don't have CS4, so haven't downloaded the video, so...apologies if this doesn't work.

I would have thought the easiest way to do this is to have two flv components, but give them two separate identifiers.

Lookign at your website though, I'm slightly confused, it looks like you've got it working.

heeh yeah, it appears to work because i just went into after effects and just prerendered the whole effect ;)

just a temp solution until I find out how to do it.

I was told to do something with bitmapdata and a bitmap object, but I don't know how to write the code yet.

anyone have a simple example I can tweak? ;)

We've a new internet policy at the school where I work, so i can't check this link, but whenever I find a useful looking tutorial I bookmark it for future use.

I just went through the tutorial, quite more involved than i had hoped, but it gives me a reason to learn how to make and use classes.

I have it working now, but the reflectied video is like 1/2 size and i'm still figuring out why.
