Okay, I posted a thread about this a few weeks ago and haven't heard anything back, I think maybe I need to clarify a few things to get a response:
I'm using Flash CS3.
I'm building an app to be delivered primarily on CDROM, but with the possibility of upload to the NET in the future.
I have about 200 items which form a toy catalogue. Each of these will be created as a separate SWF, sitting in an assets folder in the root folder of the CDROM.
I need to create some method of searching for specific SWFs and calling them to the stage for viewing by the user. This "search" function has to be able to find a SWF based on 4 or 5 parameters/keywords which appear in drop down boxes.
Is there a tried and tested method of doing this?
Will it be a heavy duty action script fest?
Has anyone seen any nice examples that fit this description?
Any response would be gratefully received.
