file size advice
on Jan 31, 2009 at 11:37:04 pm

Hey guys,

a bit of advice- I'm building a website to show a few samples of my work. Got the site all working, the only catch might be he size of my sample video files.I encoded them at 300x225 30 fps at high quality. I am hoping to have the files intact (some are 4-7 min) versus showing edited samples, but the resulted flv files sizes are between 25-40mb. With progressive download, are these considered too big and not optimal for a flash site? I will edit them into smaller versions if I should. just thought I'd get a couple thoughts from you all. Thanks!

R
