flv encode size vs. player size
on Jan 22, 2009 at 2:07:18 am

I encode videos with flix with a size of 512 x 288. Do I make my embed code 512 x 288? When I do, there are black bars on the right and left the same width of the control bar. It take 512 x 323 in order to get the vid to match the player size. If I make the player x 323, will that scale the video and cause the video to not play efficiently? If so, do I need to add a flash var to the embed code and if so, what would it be. Here is my current code:

Thank you,
