My final video is 720 x 480. But I read somewhere that if I resize the video to half it's original size (for example, in Flash Video Encoder), that it should be resized to 320 x 240. That seems off to me since 720/2=360. So I thought the resized video would be 360 x 240.
Also, if I want to resize the video to somewhere between it's original size and 1/2 size, what would the appropriate dimensions be? 480 x 360? 540 x 360?
I'm embedding an FLV file into my flash movie, but every time I try to publish this file, Flash crashes.
I'm embedding the video rather than streaming it or importing it for progressive download because the main movie has elements like bullet points that should synch up with the video. There's also a scroll bar in the main movie that controls everything in the main timeline (the bullet points, the embedded video, etc).
Also, I don't hear any of the video's audio when I play the video in the timeline in the native .fla file.
The embedded video is 448 x 336
So my questions....
1) Any idea why Flash would crash when trying to publish this swf with an embedded flv file?
