add logo to letterbox area in flash video
on Oct 31, 2008 at 10:30:01 pm

I am using Sony Vegas and am rendering to NTSC DV Widescreen Format (720x480), which results in black bars above and below. I then take my mpeg2 and encode to .flv using Flash CS3 Professional. I would like to have my logo be static through the whole video on the bottom right portion in the letterbox area. What is the best way to add a watermark or logo in this area of the video. Do I need to do it in Sony Vegas or would I do it in Flash or Dreamweaver?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It's easy in Flash.

Open up your new flv and make a new layer above the componant layer and just draw a logo how you want it to look on top of your video.

That's what I've done on this practice website

The video is about half way down.
