Adobe Flash CS3 - How to bring text forward and video backward ?
on Oct 22, 2008 at 4:41:48 am

I made Layer #1 a background video that runs the entire length of the flash video. I created a text box that will run from 5-10 seconds. But it is covered up by the video. I right clicked and told it to "send to back" the video and right clicked the text with "bring to front" and yet it is still covered up by the video segment.

Any help?

Hello-
If both the text and the video are on the same layer, the text HAS to be a symbol to be brought to the front, or just put the text on another layer above the video(that's what I'd do). This is the same thing if you have a shape – a group or symbol will always place in front of a shape, or in your case text.
Hope this helps

Tony

make a new layer and place text on top layer.
