SWF Position Problems
on Oct 6, 2008 at 1:13:08 am

I am not sure if this is more of a Flash or Dreamweaver question, but I will try it here first. I cannot seem to get my SWF project to be positioned at the top of the published HTML page. I have set up the publish options to center it horizontally and vertically to the top but there is still a little bit of space at the top. I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

have you set your actual html page to margin-left:0 and margin-top:0 in css?

Or, just click on Page Properties in the inspector in DW and then put 0 in the two margin boxes.

Also, are you placing the swf into a div? make sure you don't have any padding or margin there.

Thank you very much for the reply. The margins did it! All I had to do was input the "0"s. The spaces were blank so I wrongly assumed that it defaulted to zero. Thank you again!
